Les Saisons de Gabrielle is a seasonal cookbook rooted in family, land, and tradition. Gabrielle, the daughter of a pie maker, has built a sugar shack with her partner where they produce their own maple syrup, used to sweeten her desserts. Over twelve months, I photographed the recipes and ingredients as they naturally appeared, following real seasons to capture changing light, moods, and the passage of time.
