The Sahara Desert is more than an inanimate landscape. It is a living presence shaped by endurance, memory, and silence. My project The Beast of Burden imagines camels as witnesses to human journeys and the shifting rhythms of nomadic culture. Their forms echo dunes and wind, becoming symbols of survival and continuity.
