What began as a camera test turned into something more. The Cult started with a simple itch to experiment. But as LM Chabot layered in their real-life exhaustion as parents and observed the intensity of others' beauty routines, a narrative emerged: self-care as salvation, spectacle, and slow unraveling. From chaos to clarity (sort of). There was no script, only an idea, or a feeling. It took shape as a surreal, stylish film that walks the tightrope between fashion fantasy and emotional truth.
