I was in the landlocked African country of Lesotho, photographing for Intrepid Travel, capturing the way of life. We came across a small home with a yellow flag atop the roof. As we entered, I was greeted by a small woman with a bright smile. Following her husband’s death, she became the local brewer of sour beer, to help support her family. She raises the yellow flag when a new brew is ready.
