A Year without Light is a book that uses poetry to talk about mental health issues. In this project, I intended to reduce stigma and to instill hope in recovery. The story uses the passage of seasons as a metaphor to describe illness and recovery. Slowly, light emerges from the darkness of the winter time. Meanwhile, the main character feels that life slowly warms up to brighter days.
