Acoustic Coir began from practicing trumpet at home and exploring ways to reduce harsh sound reflections in small domestic spaces. Using coir (coconut fibre) as a porous sound-absorbing material, the project absorbs acoustic energy through its fibrous structure. Stackable modules form a semi-enclosed, vertically expandable shell that balances openness and containment, creating adaptable acoustic environments for different spaces and instruments.
