The Anthology of the Queer South is a short series born from a personal desire to find people like me—those who are both proudly Southern and LGBTQ. Episode One follows Angel, whom I connected with and interviewed as part of this journey. The project also incorporates a handmade animation process in which individual frames are printed at varying resolutions, then cut, drawn on, torn, rescanned, and reassembled frame by frame.
