Blue Collar Craft is a visual representation of the lower and middle class, depicting a story of their culture and quality of life. Paper replicas of objects found within these lifestyles form the basis of the book, while their handmade quality is a reflection of the classes’ strong work ethics. Thus, the rather humorous nature of the book balances the social awkwardness often found in class discourse, allowing the subject to be more approachable.
