In the 1960s, Taiwan was known for exporting butterflies, which harmed nature. Butterfly Aria uses design to honour and protect local species. The book, in two editions, features layered paper art showing butterflies in their habitat. Printing and materials highlight their unique beauty. Using paper instead of real specimens helps preserve nature. NFC-linked colour swatches and special stamps reflect both beauty and past loss.
