Ecloshell repurposed duck eggshells, typically discarded by pharmaceutical companies after extracting the yolk, into a new object. After testing, thin layers of eggshell fragments were chosen for their stability and texture, with smaller eggshell pieces added for subtle colour. The final material offers a warm, sandy texture and flexibility. Through Ecloshell, the project showcases the potential of sustainable design by upcycling natural materials that would otherwise be wasted.
