This editorial work was done in response to an article on the deplorable and unsanitary conditions of factory farming that often lead to outbreaks of diseases and waste of livestock. It is important for us to remember and respect where our food comes from. Anything ending up on our dinner plates needs to be treated with respect for the health of the animals that provide us with nourishment and for the consumer’s health as well.
