Futura Type Booklet is a promotional booklet for Futura that focuses on composition and layout. The German flag and the American flag, which map the geographical journey of Futura, inspire the colour story. The cover is designed by breaking down the letters of Futura in the utmost basic shapes: circle, square and triangle. The same shapes have been used to write “danke” or “thank you” in German, on the back cover. These shapes lay the foundation of the typeface.
