Goya had lost touch with the people it was built for. The redesign began in the printmaking studio, where real food—primarily corn—was relief printed, scanned, and transformed into a complete packaging system. A colour palette inspired by purple corn, Mexican pottery, and the forests of Colombia and Puerto Rico shaped the visual language. The ingredients became the brand itself: the corn on the label is the corn in the can.
