Ninth Letter is a collaborative class at UIUC where students work during the semester to create a literary journal from copy received from the English department. The journal is published and made available for purchase online. This issue’s theme was “Transition.” The imagery and design elements were inspired by the ideas of change that we go through that aren’t always pleasant. It also draws on feelings of loss and disintegration over periods of time.
