This photo was taken in early August on the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, China. I chose to take the photo on a cloudy day to add a calm and slightly sad mood. This photo is about finding meaning in being alone. The model and the tree both stand alone, but they are not weak. Instead, they show strength and peace. It shows that even in big, empty spaces, we can find strength and beauty in ourselves. I hope this photo encourages people to feel calm and confident in their own moments of solitude.
