Designed for below-knee amputee tap dancers, this prosthetic rethinks conventional exposed pipe-pylon systems that prioritize basic mobility over the rhythmic impact, rebound, and repetitive heel strikes required for tap dance. A layered carbon-fibre blade structure improves force transfer, comfort, and responsiveness during performance, while detachable brushed metal tap plates allow for a seamless transition between dancing and everyday wear.
