VAST (Voice Accessible Story Technology) is a speech-based app that helps blind and visually impaired youth write and publish stories with their voice. In a world where traditional writing methods hinder children with disabilities from creativity and expression, VAST uses artificial intelligence and accessible design to fight for inclusivity and foster a platform where everyone gets a voice. For its efforts, it won the 2021 Congressional App Challenge and was recognized by members of Congress.
