Zenith is a translation of Brutalist ideologies into graphic design. Pushing the limits of one weight of Neue Haas throughout the piece mimicked how concrete was also being used in the ‘60s in Brutalist buildings. The confusion and convoluted understandings of Brutalism inspired the development of the display typeface. It demands the viewer’s attention in order to understand it, perhaps urging them to also reconsider the Brutalist buildings that surround them in the same way.
