The McHappy Day coin box was the first coin box that could immediately demonstrate the difference customers were making on McHappy Day. When guests dropped coins into the box, the weight of the money made the iconic McDonald’s smile grow bigger. The Smile Boxes were used across Canada and helped bring in $4.9 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
