Every year, Raising The Roof sells winter hats known as “toques” to fund homelessness prevention programs. This year, we transformed easily overlooked spaces where vulnerable Canadians seek shelter into RTR Street Shops. Painted entirely in white and dressed with toques for sale, our Street Shops drew the attention of passersby. We encouraged them to purchase a toque and help prevent someone from having to live in that very location tomorrow.
