In Newfoundland and Labrador, 10,000-year-old cathedrals of ice come to visit every year. Along with them come travellers hoping to catch a glimpse. The challenge with bergs is that they don’t sit still, so, we embarked on a redesign of Incorporating a responsive layout and an interactive map, icebergs are plotted using satellite data, and enhanced by users and tourism operators on the ground. Added social sharing features increased engagement and visit times.
