The chair of SVA’s Graphic Design and Advertising Department, Richard Wilde, celebrated his 40th anniversary with the College in 2009. To commemorate this occasion, the College put on an exhibition of featured works from many of the students that have come out of Richard Wilde’s program.The book that was created was not meant to be a mere exhibition catalog but a substantial publication in itself—a lasting proof of one educator’s impact on graphic culture.
