INO works in optics—the properties of light. We drew a parallel between the applications of optics in everyday life and the omnipresence of the sun by giving the sun a starring role in the report: making it readable. Photochromic ink was used for some headings and pictures. A QR code that can only be read in sunlight links to a UNESCO text proclaiming 2015 to be the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies.
