Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci are both love and hatred dramas with pastoral themes. Expressing the drama of a couple trying to keep a secret from an insular and traditional village bubbling up with both love and hate, utilizing the elegant typeface of Conqueror Didot, the letters conjure the image of hundreds of gazes at once with its scattered, chiseled look, with silver on four colors emphasizing the various gaps therein.
