Edmontonians were under-informed and upset about property tax increases. So we created an online experience to show citizens how their tax dollars connect to—and improve—their everyday lives. Illustrations representing Edmonton landmarks and essential services were brought together on a map for citizens to explore. Key illustrations served as gateways to deeper information about specific budget items—and how much each household’s taxes contribute towards them.
