In 1998, weeks before the arrival of Pope John Paul II in Havana, I went to Pinar Del Rio, looking for a story away from the media. I stayed on a tobacco farm with a family of six, all blonds, whom had never heard of the Pope. They worked hard and lived poorly. I was struck by the love, the beauty and simplicity of those people. This story is shown for the first time.
