Having been commissioned to colour grade this series of portraits to raise funds for the preservation of the near extinct Northern White Rhinos, it was very important that we assessed the story the images were trying to convey. We drew upon the theme of isolation to reflect the severity of their situation. The monochrome grade really accentuates the somber message being conveyed, and the natural textures of the Rhinos themselves hold the eye for longer.
