Russian Traceurs are considered to be among the most determined, daring and often plain crazy. Mostly free from the restrictions, discipline and authoritarian tutors of the professional sport organizations, Traceurs organize themselves into very liberal and uncompetitive collectives, with their own training routines, competitions and guidelines. For the Russian youth, it has been a blissful form of escape from today's harsh realities, politics, confusion and a very personal pursuit for their true self.
