With over 300 communicators across UBC, few of whom are trained as designers or communicators, brand.ubc.ca had to be accessible, educational and inspirational. The content architecture for the site took the narrative form of a modern digital story. Traditional print and publishing tools were pared with digital marketing and each media type was given its own ‘chapter’. Training was delivered in multiple formats and an obsessive care was taken to create the UX experience.
