Radio-Canada is a versatile humanist typeface built for the client's digital, broadcast and print platforms. The goal was to design an extensive type family that excels in long copy, but also has character when used in headlines. Its many subtle details, such as angled descenders and ascenders, complemented by unexpected serifs, help give the type family a distinctive personality. Its character set supports over 200 languages and its x-height was calculated to guarantee excellent legibility.
