In his Edsel Corsair 59, André the driver has everything going for him: a well-kept appearance, a friendly face, a big set of wheels that cruises through the neon pastel cityscapes of Miami. As the passenger, in this month of June 2017, I relish the fascinating hold old cars have over bystanders. The American dream, basically: the illusion of freedom, the pursuit of wealth, nostalgia, and a fully owned taste for exaggeration.
