Honua is a family owned Hawaiian rum sold to tourists and locals on the Hawaiian islands. It is available in two types: Outrigger Gold and Hula White. After finding that both locals and tourists hope to feel connected to Hawaiian roots and local culture, I developed an identity strongly rooted in heritage, yet intimate and tactile. The identity hopes to recreate the traditional Hawaiian feeling while the takeaway map presents a gift to the consumer.
