Many Asian women face this issue on a regular basis that is rarely talked about, if ever, in that if we physically differ from the racially stereotypical norm in even the slightest way, people automatically assume we must have undergone surgery/hate our race. There is nothing flattering about people assuming you are fake/artificial/self-hating and it is in fact deeply and destructively offensive, and I wanted to bring awareness to that.
