Announcing the 2024 Design Awards Winners

This year's Applied Arts Design Awards jury members shared a record number of comments such as "Smart, Refreshing, Clever, Beautiful, Really Well Done, Unforgettable, Incredible Execution"...these are just a few of many.We are so excited to share the winning work in our Summer 2024 Awards Annual and the online Winners Gallery soon, but for now, we are unveiling the 40+ winning entrants.

"An entry that stops you in your tracks and gets you to feel something, an emotion or a visceral reaction. There were a few entries where I also just had that ‘I really wish I’d thought of that’ moment!"

Bryony Meyrick, CD, C0-Founder Together Design, London, UK., 2024, an Applied Arts Design Awards judge said of what made a winning entry.

 

How are entries selected? The judges were divided into groups, each judging a different and random group of entries separately and without discussion. Each entry is given one total score based on creative merit, technical excellence and suitability for end use in the category it was submitted to. Entries that exceeded the pre-determined cut-off score were selected for inclusion in the Photography, Illustration and Design Award Annual. Subscribers and winners can expect to receive their issue in early July. Not a subscriber?  Subscribe for as little as $40 CAD on or before May 31 to have the issue delivered to your post box.
