Go With the Flo

BREAKING NEWS: Homework sucks. Homework while stuck at home sucks even more. Unfortunately, homework is a fact of scholastic life; fortunately, Flo is here to make it a whole lot less sucky.

Allprof is an assistance platform in Quebec that assists 400,000 students and parents with the daily chores of homework. It was looking to renew its brand alongside a new online support program. They specifically wanted to infuse some heart and humanity to help make an often-dreaded task a delightful one.

With this mandate, Montreal-based Cossette created a digital ecosystem around Quebec’s new education hero: Flo. Flo is a plucky green mascot that makes pedagogy playful instead of pedantic.

Cossette’s lighthearted learning experience won them multiple 2021 Design Awards and it isn’t hard to see why: if you can make the number one fictional dog food fun through design, you are worthy of a Design Award.
