"How do you fit 100 years of history on a postage stamp?" said creative director Pierre Léonard. "That was the challenge facing us when Canada Post asked us to create two stamps commemorating the centennial of the Grand Theatre in London, Ontario, as well as the 50th anniversary of Montréal's Théâtre du Nouveau Monde. TNM is a theater company and the stamp features the company's founding fathers; while the Grand is a performing venue and showcases the proscenium arch, with founder Ambrose Small and a silhouette of his ghost." Production notes: Printed in stochastic screen in 8 colors, plus a silver varnish.
