"Moments of clarity" was the idea behind this year's Distress Centres Annual Report. It captures that moment when someone who has faced a traumatic experience such as depression or substance abuse is now able to look at themselves again. To convey this idea, the copy on the cover was printed backwards, while the back cover included a fold-out “mirror”. When the reader places the mirror beside the front cover, they are able to read the copy “with clarity”. The concept of ‘reflection’ carries throughout the AR with both photography and typography."
