In fear of the balance tipping toward democracy, Iran’s Conservative Faction has arrested, tried and convicted almost every journalist who questions the government on trumped up charges of anti-regime activities. This series of paintings, accompanying a report on one such journalist condemned to death, suggests what role his yet undetermined fate may play.
