Agency Christmas cards are typically mass mailings. So we decided to give 432 people a personal touch by sending a heartfelt email, linked with a personalized greeting. When the link was opened they saw a video of Santa Claus reading a holiday greeting. As Santa spoke, each person’s name was inserted robotically by an obviously automated system. It was the most impersonal, personal Christmas greeting they could ever receive.
