When people talk about Detroit, they only ever mention the shattered landscape, and put such a negative label on what the city has become.Before this series, I knew no one living in Detroit. The people I came into contact with were some of the most welcoming and genuine people I’ve met. They've completely changed my outlook on the city, which is what I hope to achieve with these portraits.
