Imperial Oil had consolidated their small town branded distributors, closing many smaller outlets. Rural customers needed to be reassured that ESSO industrial lubricant would come to them. This shot was taken at sunrise at Steveston Harbour in Richmond, BC, demonstrating an appreciation for the natural beauty in these remote locations.
