At the time, Whistler’s snow report claimed 71cm in 24 hours, 126cm in 48hrs, and 315cm in the preceding week. Ian was immersed in snow even as he launched into mid-air. It was a skier’s dream, a photographer’s heaven and absolutely impossible to keep my gear dry.
