Over the past few years I have been asked by several clients to study the various areas of the city. Often the final images are used in presentation centres or corporate collections. Depending on the look we are going for and the final application of the photography, Iíll choose to shoot either digitally or with film. This series was shot traditionally and beautifully printed as toned silver prints. The opening shot is the Drake hotel. I love the fact that the L is backwards. The other two images are of a couple of motorcycles I found lovingly parked along the street. There is a similarity between the signage and the chrome details of the vintage motorcycles that I connected only after I shot them. Projects like this are great because they get you out of the studio and force you to look at everyday objects in a new and creative way.
