Rethink Communications wanted to differentiate the Sheridan College Grad book from the normal student tome. The designer’s challenge was to have a hidden magnetic cover allowing a perforated sheet of rebuses (a representation of words in the form of pictures) held to it. To achieve this Metropolitan embedded a sheet of 30 gauge steel into the case binding. The result was a completely interactive cover.
