The War is in Our Backyard Series seeks to make war more intelligible and tangible by converting common Canadian landscapes into scenes reminiscent of war zones. Perhaps this will compel us to respond to conflicts, wherever they may be and whomever they may affect, as if they took place in our own backyards.
