For the gala premiere of “Blindness”, the Calgary International Film Festival staff personally dropped off blank envelopes containing blank invites to its list of VIPs. As recipients opened the card, they heard an unexpected audio message made possible by a miniscule sound chip that was tucked inside the blank card.
