A Fountain of Prizes

It was a very long winter. Perhaps you helped brighten the blustery days of December with an Advent calendar filled with treats or tchotchkes. There is nothing better than giving yourself a little gift every day, except for maybe having someone else give you that gift.

That’s where FCB Canada’s new promotion for Fountain Tire comes in. Fountain Tire is celebrating their 65th anniversary, and they know that with Canada opening back up, people will be getting back on the roads using their vehicles for local travel and staycations. To help celebrate their anniversary and give back to their customers they are launching 65 Days of Giveaways a multi-day calendar promotion featuring great deals on summer tires and auto service, plus a stellar list of prizes that include everything from tires (natch), to Raptors tickets, travel vouchers, and much more.

"Customers are at the centre of our success. As we were planning our 65th anniversary, we knew that our customers needed to be the focus,” said Denise Gohl-Eacrett, Director Brand and Customer Experience. “And what better way to celebrate than by delighting our customers with a number of great prizes to kick off the summer.”

The campaign centres on the first-ever digital garage Advent calendar. Each day a garage bay door opens on the corresponding calendar date to reveal the prize, the bay doors will remain open eventually revealing the full list of prizes, including the grand prize.

“Fountain Tire wanted to give a huge thanks to Canadians for allowing them to be part of their communities for over 65 years,” said Elma Karabegovic, Associate Creative Director. “So we did it in a very Fountain Tire way, with a virtual contest containing 65 prizes hidden behind 65 garage doors. And the contest runs for (you guessed it) 65 days,” said Shannon McCarroll, Senior Copywriter.
