Happy V-Day! 3 Projects That Will Have You Loving Creativity
February 14, 2018
Happy Valentine's Day! Here are a few Cupid-inspired creative projects that landed on our desk this week.
"Love Lost" (pictured, above) is a sweet digital piece from Jam3. Adrian Belina, partner and executive creative director, says the team wanted to offer something different than the usual V-Day fare to get users to reflect on their past. The interactive poem unfolds as users click and hold a meteor-like "heart" to fill it with light as they remember past loves.
john st. worked with Dr. Oetker to create a pop-up "chocolateria" called Cioccolato's in downtown Toronto (open through today) to promote its new chocolate dessert pizza. Dr. Oetker used the hashtag #chocolatedreams to ask Canadians what their chocolate dreams were, and used some of the answers to inform the space, which is entirely made with chocolate—including the tables, cutlery, walls and artwork.
Animation studio WIZZ created The Postman, a short film for car company Renault. The romance story centres around a postal worker who falls for a girl on his delivery route, but whose clunky trunk keeps bothering her dog. Eventually the postman gets a quiet, electric vehicle to replace it—the dog is happy, and so is his love interest. Watch the making-of video below.
