The Student Awards annual is coming soon. Look for our winners in this issue. Our student winners will also be displayed at our upcoming Creative Futures Expo – the best place for students to learn about careers in the visual arts. Read about the top winning schools and our upcoming student expo.
We expanded our Student Awards to include some high school categories in 2017, and this year we saw a 400% increase in entries! The majority of high school entries came from Canada and the USA, but entries came from as far away as South Korea and Czech Republic. For Canadian high schools, two had multiple winners, Don Mills Collegiate Institute in Toronto and CFP Maurice-Barbeau in Quebec City. Congrats to all the students!

Alberta College of Art + Design, Capilano University, Conestoga College, Dawson College, Humber College, Miami Ad School (various locations including New York, Miami, San Francisco and Italy), Mohawk College, OCAD University, Seneca College and Savannah College of Art & Design.

In addition to our Expo, we will be having a Creative Futures Grad Week virtual speaker series from Nov 14 - 21. Students are invited to join us each weekday at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. via their computer, tablet or phone. Listen to rising stars and seasoned professionals share their stories and advice for post-secondary students about to graduate. Make sure to save the date and check back for more updates!
