Write for Rights is Amnesty International's biggest human rights campaign. This year, the write-a-thon highlighted the stories of people who were unjustly imprisoned for joining protests. The objective was to make people aware of the fragility of freedom of expression in other parts of the world and, at the same time, show the real impact that simple gestures like letter-writing can have.
